Ronald L. Young, DC, FIACA,DABCI

Dr. Ronald L. Young s a licensed Chiropractor and board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists (DABCI) or Chiropractic Internist.  He graduated Palmer College of Chiropractic  in 1982.  He has an Associate of Science Degree. Prior to going to school for chiropractic care, he was certified as an Emergency Medical Technician. He has been trained in several techniques: toggle technique, diversified technique, Gonstead technique, Cox technique, Thompson technique, Pierce-Stillwagon technique, and applied kinesiology. He has completed one hundred hours of X-ray technique and diagnosing with Dr. Erhardt. Since his graduation, he has many other post-graduate courses; pediatrics, analysis of organ dysfunctions, applied neurology, electrocardiography and phonocardiography, pharmacognosy (herbal therapy), and associated pathology. Dr. Young has 100 hours of Accupuncture. He is also a Fellow for the International Academy of Accupuncture.

Dr. Young was the recipient of the Outstanding Service Award as Class Representative for the International Chiropractic Association. The doctor has been listed in the Wall Street Journal for business leaders in the process of reform. He was the Salina representative for the Kansas chapter of Child Abuse Prevention Services, where he received a certificate of appreciation. Dr. Young was also an Honorary Chairman and received a Leadership Award from the National Republican Congressional Committee.

He opened his own practice March 1983. He has been at the same location since then. Dr. Young continues to attend seminars and allows time to further his education and knowledge of the human body. He is glad to share with you his new experiences on a regular basis. In addition to his extensive work in the medical field, Dr. Young is also a 7th degree black belt in Mixed Martial Arts. He has been married for 33 years and is a very devoted father to his 3 daughters.

Who We Are

Aside from Dr. Young, our team includes Linda. She is the Office Manager and has been with the practice since the first day. She is the doctor's right hand. We also have  a very friendly and passionate office staff.
